SF Supervisors Pass Resolution Opposing NDAA


The San Francisco Board of Supervisors unanimously approved today a resolution opposing the indefinite detention provisions of the NDAA.

The resolution “Opposing the Indefinite Detention Provisions of the National Defense Authorization Act” was introduced by David Chiu, President of the Board, and sponsored by Supervisors Avalos, Breed, Campos, Kim and Mar.

Supervisor Chiu introduced the resolution after learning that the children of Fred Korematsu, Min Yasui, amd Gordon Hirabayashi filed an amicus brief in the Hedges lawsuit against the NDAA.
